Agnès de Verneuil
“Jewellery is an important part of my childhood memories. Each Christmas, my grandmother gave me one of her own pieces of jewellery.
Whether it was made of silver or gold, with coral beads or precious stones, each piece came with a story, some came from far away.
These pieces shaped my taste at a very early age and have influenced my designs to this day”
Agnès de Verneuil grew up with a fascination for these treasures, enhancing her collection with crafted pieces from all over the world. After studying fashion in Paris, Agnes moved to India, her dream destination, where she worked for three years for the jeweller Marie-Hélène de Taillac. Immersed in the exotic colours and spices of India, she learned to understand the colours and forms of precious and semi-precious stones, she shaped her own know-how in jeweller’s craft. Upon returning to France, Agnes decided to create her first collection in 2009.
All her jewels are exclusive creations: based in Paris, Agnes draws new pieces continuously in her sketchbook. Then, she goes to Jaipur, the “Kingdom of jewellery, where she develops each imagined piece with the craftsmen of the workshop: still the same since her beginnings. Finally, jewellery arrive in France where they are thoroughly checked and entrusted to the expert hands of a Parisian gilder.
Working exclusively with sterling silver and gold vermeil, occasionally enhanced with a touch of colour, her elegant and timeless creations are now sold in independent stores in Paris and worldwide.
